1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Know Her ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Know Her is a menstrual cycle tracking application. It allows users to log and predict cycle phases based on the data they provide. The App offers a 14-day free trial followed by a paid monthly or annual subscription for continued access to its features.

3. Medical Disclaimer

Know Her is not a medical device and is not approved or certified for clinical or medical use. The predictions, insights, and information provided by the App are based solely on the data you enter and are intended for general informational purposes only.

You must not use Know Her:

• As a contraceptive method or to prevent sexually transmitted infections.
• To diagnose, treat, or manage any medical condition.
• As a substitute for professional medical advice or consultation.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for any health-related questions or decisions.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Access to Know Her requires a subscription after the free trial period. Subscriptions are billed through Apple and are governed by Apple's payment terms.

• Free trial: A 14-day free trial is offered to new subscribers. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled in your Apple ID account settings.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via your device's App Store subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided.
• Price changes: We may change subscription pricing. You will be notified in advance of any change.

5. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information to receive meaningful results.
• Keep your device secure to protect the data stored locally.
• Use the App only for lawful, personal purposes.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute the App.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials within Know Her are the property of Know Her and its creators, protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: your health data never leaves your device.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or accurate. Cycle predictions are estimates based on data you provide and may not reflect actual biological cycles.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Know Her and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including any decisions made based on information or predictions provided by the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at our discretion if these Terms are violated. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
